Time Sheriff helps parents and small business owners discover and control how their dependants and employees use their PCs. Tracking log-on and log-off times and recording information about every application being launched, used and closed, Time Sheriff offers comprehensive statistics and advanced reports on how much time they used the computer in general and each application in particular.
Apart from passive monitoring, Time Sheriff can limit how long different users can stay logged on or for how long they can use a particular application. Kids playing too much computer games? Time Sheriff can prevent them running the games for too long by putting in a daily time limit, requiring a Master Password to run each particular application, or prohibiting execution altogether.
Based on Windows account control, Time Sheriff’s protection is impossible to circumvent without having access to an administrative account. And even then, a valid Master Password set at the time of installation is required to change any settings, disable or uninstall the product.
Time Sheriff can control individual users or user groups. Setting restrictions just once and leaving Time Sheriff running is all that’s needed. There’s no regular maintenance to perform and no tweaks to be done. Time Sheriff kicks in automatically the moment a user logs in to their Windows account. Each application can be allowed, time-limited, password-protected or prohibited for any Windows user or user group on a computer.
